She has also worked for other stations like WLVI TV, WHSV TV as well as WFSB TV WBRE TV and WNYW. The channel hired her by the Fox News Channel to be a general assignment journalist in 2005. Few years later, Fox Report Weekend' was made an anchor. Julie Banderas' career has covered a wide range of issues, including the hurricane Dennis, the disappearance and trial of Terri Schiavo. She received the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award (2004) in recognition of her work of the Republican National Convention. As an outspoken reporter, she attracted international media attention in a scathing critique of US President Donald Trump's inflammatory comments about a different anchor on television.
